My name is Francesca, I am a 3rd year Ba Hons Costume Construction for Screen and Stage student studying in Wales.

Since school I have followed an art route educationally; I am qualified in Life Drawing, Fashion Illustration, Fine Art and Textiles, but have also taken history of art and business. Before uni i also passed my foundation with a merit, specialising in textiles.
I am able to pattern cut and work on the stand, use machine or hand sewing, and a variety of techniques including print and surface embroidery. In my spare time I have also learnt to knit and crochet.
I work well as part of a team, or on my own, and have worked both on set (RCT pantomime 2011), as a costume assistance (knight of the dead, to be released 2013), and behind the scenes (King Lear with Royal Welsh College of music and Drama, 2011) & (Bianco, The No Fit State Circus, 2012) along with travelling to Chongqing in China for Wales Week 2012 with the British Council.
